About halfway through today's session, here are the top 10 names showing unusual option activity on tradeMONSTER's LiveAction data system.

Pandora Media (P): Option volume 1,580 percent above average. Investors buy and sell puts in the Internet media company, which went public earlier in the month. P rose 5.63 percent to $17.45.

Mindray Medical (MR): Option volume 1,488 percent above average. An investor sold about 1,800 August 25 puts for $0.80 and bough an equal number of August 30 calls for $0.65, betting the Chinese stock will rally. MR rose 3.50 percent to $27.49.

Hansen Natural (HANS): Option volume 1,116 percent above average. A long position in 10,000 September 80 calls was rolled to the September 90 contracts. HANS rose 1.37 percent to $80.20.

Marsh & McLennan (MMC): Option volume 514 percent above average. An investor bought 1,500 each in the August 29 puts and August 31 calls for $0.625 and $0.55, respectively, looking for volatility to increase. MMC rose 0.87 percent to $30.20.

Nike (NKE): Option volume 490 percent above average. Activity surged following a strong earnings report, with a roll from the July 80 calls to the August 87.50s the largest trade. NKE rose 6.94 percent to $87.29.
