The heirs of Gang Green on the New York Sack Exchange have just become the first team in NFL history to alternate between wins and losses for their first 10 games. No such inconsistency for the NYSE itself, now a gang of green ink after US stock markets rose for a sixth straight week. Stocks scraped the sky after both the Dow (INDEXDJX:.DJI) and S&P 500 Index (INDEXSP:.INX) reached records. Even Sears ( SHLD ), whose iconic Chicago Tower lost its title as the tallest building in the Western hemisphere to One World Trade Center, surged 13.52%. An ice hotel in Sweden was told to get fire alarms , an overheating Hewlett-Packard ( HPQ ) cooled off 2.8%, and fire-prone Tesla Motors ( TSLA ) fell another 1.56% on Friday. At least, as an electric car company, it does not have to bother about gasoline prices, which tumbled to their lowest level for three years. This after a new report said the US soon will overtake the Saudis in oil . (Not to be confused with a study that said the exact same thing last month , and indeed last year .)

There isn't any top-tier economic data to move US markets today but, as far as specific stocks are concerned, Jacobs Engineering ( JEC ), Mazor Robotics ( MZOR ), Salesforce.com (CRM), Sky-mobi (MOBI), and Tyson Foods (TSN) are all due to announce quarterly earnings.

Baxter International (BAX): Credit Suisse boosts BAX to Outperform from Neutral.

Bottomline Technologies (EPAY): Raymond James raises its recommendation to Strong Buy from Outperform.

Diebold (DBD): Diebold, which makes Automated Teller Machines, gets taken to Buy from Hold at KeyBanc. Shares are advancing impressively ahead of the opening bell as a result.

Goldcorp (GG): Goldcorp gives Goldcorp a Buy-from-Neutral upgrade. Over the past 12 months, shares of Goldcorp have tumbled 38.94% even in this record-setting stock market. The stock is, however, inching up today due to the analyst's increased optimism.

IntercontinentalExchange (ICE): ICE, the new owner of the New York Stock Exchange, is now Outperform from Market Perform at BMO Capital.

Maxim Integrated Products (MXIM): MKM Partners moves MXIM to Buy from Neutral.

Kirklands (KIRK): SunTrust takes the stock to Buy from Neutral.

Penn National Gaming (PENN): The stock gets taken to Outperform from Market Perform with Wells Fargo.

Radware (RDWR): (About the title? What can I tell you; I'm a child of the '80s .) Radware is raised to Buy from Neutral at Needham, which notes both better growth an improvement in its European operations. Its target price on Radware is $21.

Rayonier (RYN): RYN is taken to Outperform from Sector Perform at RBC Capital amid its increased optimism over 2014 pulp prices.

Vitamin Shoppe (VSI): Goldman Sachs adds Vitamin Shoppe to its Conviction Buy list. Its increased optimism on Vitamin Shoppe relates primarily to an acceleration in industry growth.
