QuickLogic Selects New Vice President - Analyst Blog

QuickLogic Corporation ( QUIK ) recently appointed Maxime Bouvat-Merlin as the new Vice President, Worldwide Engineering. The primary responsibility of Bouvat-Merlin will be to direct and supervise the company's global engineering activities.

Bouvat-Merlin has considerable experience in the wired and wireless communications domains of semiconductor solutions. He was previously working as Director, Product Management & Technology Roadmaps with a subsidiary of Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. Qualcomm is a leading provider of wireless and wired technologies for the mobile, networking, computing and consumer electronics markets.

QuickLogic believes that Bouvat-Merlin is ideal for the new post, given his extensive knowledge and skill in executing operations. Moreover, the company believes that Bouvat-Merlin's vast experience will facilitate the company to effectively deliver system level solutions in the mobile market.

Additionally, QuickLogic expects Bouvat-Merlin's skill in establishing and leading engineering teams to enable the company to sustain the next wave of its Customer Specific Standard Products (CSSP) business model, technology direction and Tier 1 customer base.
