P&G Launches Duracell Quantum - Analyst Blog
The Procter & Gamble Company
) or P&G recently introduced a premium alkaline battery
called Duracell Quantum.
This advanced alkaline battery features a Hi-Density Core, DURALOCK Power Preserve technology and proprietary PowerCheck power indicator. The Hi-Density Core allows the battery to last longer. Powercheck is a power indicator on the cell, which makes it easier to estimate the longevity of the battery. The DURALOCK power preserve technology helps the battery to preserve power up to 10 years in storage. All these features make it the only battery of its kind.
With increasing innovation of electronic products, there is an increasing demand for long lasting batteries. Without strong battery power, it is not possible to optimize the use of these electronics devices.
Duracell Quantum is efficient for all kinds of electrical devices, right from high drain devices such as gaming controls and camera flashes to low drain devices like clocks and remote controls. The red and copper colored battery has been designed to cater to the growing demand for powerful batteries for electronic products, toys, flash lights and camera flash.
Innovation is the driving force for Procter & Gamble and the company has had a strong tradition of not only introducing blockbuster new products but also of creating new categories. The company has consistently increased market share in fast growing businesses over the years through innovation and new product launches and the latest addition to the Duracell brand reflects this strategy.
