NRG Energy (NRG): Traders purchased about 10,000 December 24 calls, looking for continued upside in the share price. NRG rose 1.61 percent to $23.11.

Lamar Advertising (LAMR): A block of 5,000 December 41 calls was purchased for $0.20 as investors look for the stock to push higher. LAMR rose 1.32 percent to $40.25.

Bank of America (BAC): Almost 11,000 February 10 puts were bought for $0.33 as investors brace for downside in the financial giant. BAC rose 0.47 percent to $10.59.
