TJX (TJX): An investor bought some 28,000 February 45 calls for
$0.25 and sold a similar number of March 45 calls for $1.05. Volume
was below open interest in February, suggesting that a short
position was rolled forward in time as the trader looks for the
stock to stay at or below $45. TJX fell 0.09 percent to $45.17.
Chimera Investment (CIM): An investor purchased about 28,000 March
3 puts, positioning for potential downside in the share price. CIM
was unchanged at $3.07.
Morgan Stanley (MS): An investor bought 10,000 January 22 puts for
$2.01 and sold an equal number of January 17 puts for $0.61,
hedging against a decline in the brokerage stock. MS fell 0.90
percent to $23.62.
Dendreon (DNDN): Some 10,000 August 5 puts were bought, mostly for
$0.84, but volume was below open interest at the strike. DNDN fell
1.42 percent to $6.26.
