Abiomed Receives Close-Out Letter From FDA - Quick Facts

(RTTNews.com) - Abiomed Inc. (ABMD), a provider of heart support technologies, said Wednesday that it received a close-out letter from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration with respect to the Agency's previous warning letter dated June 10 of last year.

The close-out letter states that the FDA Office of Compliance has completed its evaluation of the corrective actions taken by Abiomed in response to earlier disclosed FDA warning letter and that the concerns cited in that letter appear to have been addressed.
