German Cartel Office Gives Green Light To E.ON's Thuega Sale
FRANKFURT (Dow Jones)-Germany's cartel office said Tuesday it has approved the
sale of E.ON AG's (EOAN.XE) Thuega unit, as expected.
MAIN FACTS:
-The cartel office says the sale is an important contribution to creating a
competitive structure in the energy sector.
-Thuega has annual sales of around EUR860 million.
-Around 90 municipal and regional utilities will have minority holdings in
Thuega.
