China: To Review Anti-Dumping Tariffs On Imported Chloroform
BEIJING -(Dow Jones)- China will begin to review anti-dumping measures against
chloroform imported from the European Union, the U.S. and South Korea Monday,
the Ministry of Commerce said Sunday.
The review over the chemical used to produce medicines, dyes and pesticides
will end by Nov. 30, 2010, the ministry said in a statement posted on its Web
site.
China began to adopt five-year anti-dumping tariffs on imported chloroform
from the three regions on Nov. 30, 2004.
Two Chinese chemical companies submitted applications in September to ask the
ministry to extend the anti-dumping tariffs, according to the ministry.
