France, Belgium, GDF-Suez Sign Convention On Power Supply
PARIS -(Dow Jones)- France, Belgium and French utility GDF Suez SA (GSZ.FR)
said Tuesday they signed a three-party convention to ensure the continuity and
security of power supply in France and Belgium.
The convention aims to put in place a regular exchange of information and a
formalized consultation between the three parties on decisions taken by GDF Suez
that could affect the continuity or security of power supply in France and
Belgium, the French Prime Minister's office said in a statement.
The convention was signed by France's Prime Minister, Francois Fillon,
Belgium's Prime Minister, Herman Van Rompuy, and Chief Executive of GDF-Suez,
Gerard Mestrallet.
