Turkish Bosporus Strait Reopens To Shipping - IHA
ISTANBUL -(Dow Jones)- Turkey's Bosporus Strait has reopened to shipping,
officials from the Turkish Coastal Safety Agency said Tuesday, the Ihlas News
Agency, or IHA, reported.
The strait early Tuesday has been closed to tanker traffic due to poor
visibility caused by dense fog.
The strait was closed to both northbound and southbound traffic from 0505 GMT
Tuesday.
The straits are often closed in the winter due to winds, snow and fog.
