Vietnam Central Bank Allows ANZ To Provide Underwriting Services
HANOI -(Dow Jones)- Vietnam's central bank said Friday that it allowed ANZ
Vietnam, a unit of Australia & New Zealand Banking Group Ltd. (ANZ.AU), to
provide underwriting services for local bonds.
ANZ Vietnam will be permitted to provide underwriting services for bonds to be
issued in the domestic market, The State Bank of Vietnam said in a statement.
ANZ is the second foreign bank to secure such a permission, following HSBC
which received the nod from the central bank in June.
