Hajime Construction To List On Jasdaq December 25
TOKYO -(Dow Jones)- Japanese real estate company Hajime Construction Co. (
3268.JA) has received approval to list on the Jasdaq Securities Exchange on Dec.
25, the JSE said Friday.
The company will offer 3 million new shares to the public in its initial
public offering to raise Y6.37 billion in proceeds to buy land for housing and
condominium construction.
An additional public offering of 650,000 existing shares is scheduled under an
overallotment arrangement in case of exceptional demand. Its existing
shareholders will sell 1.35 million shares to the public.
The company will offer all shares through the book-building method from Dec. 8
to Dec. 14. The fixed offering price will be announced on Dec. 15.
Mitsubishi UFJ Securities is the lead underwriter for the offer.
Under the book-building method, the underwriter gauges the degree of demand
for the shares among institutional investors by accepting orders from fund
managers, who indicate the number of shares desired and the price they are
willing to pay.
The tentative price range will be announced Dec. 4.
For the current fiscal year through January, 2010, the company forecasts
parent pretax profit of Y13.04 billion, net profit of Y7.46 billion, revenue of
Y191.68 billion, earnings per share of Y288.14 and a dividend of Y40.
