PetroVietnam Technical: Bags Floating Oil Storage Deal
HANOI -(Dow Jones)- PetroVietnam Technical Services Corp. (PVS.VN) said Friday
it has signed a contract to supply a floating oil storage and offloading unit to
Vietsovpetro, a Vietnam-Russia oil joint venture.
Vietsovpetro will use the facility, called FSO-5, for oil production at the
Bach Ho field off Vietnam's southeastern coast, the company said in a statement.
The company didn't provide details of the contract.
The $208-million FSO-5 has a storage capacity of 150,000 metric tons of crude
oil, it added.
The company will put FSO-5 into operation at the field after its construction
is completed by March 30.
