Cablevision Adds Fox Business To Lineup
DOW JONES NEWSWIRES
Cablevision Systems Corp. (CVC) has added Fox Business Network to its
offerings in the New York City area as the upstart continues to gain access to
additional residences.
Launched in October 2007 in 30 million homes, the channel--which like this
newswire is owned by News Corp. (NSWA)--can now be seen in more than 50 million.
Cablevision serves more than three million homes in New York, New Jersey and
Connecticut.
Fox Business' footprint is only half that of ratings leader CNBC, owned by NBC
Universal. Fox Business in early October added a simulcast of Don Imus' radio
broadcast to boost viewership.
