UTI Asset Management:Saw Positive Inflows In Equity Funds Past 3
Months
MUMBAI -(Dow Jones)- UTI Asset Management has seen positive inflows into its
equity funds over the past three months, its chairman said Wednesday.
The markets are primarily driven by strong foreign fund inflows, but investors
need to be cautious at current market levels, U.K. Sinha told reporters on the
sidelines of an industry conference.
Foreign institutional investors have invested a net $15.14 billion so far in
2009 in India, compared with a net outflow of $11.97 billion in 2008.
India's auto sector, pharmaceutical and IT companies are looking good at the
moment, Sinha added, without elaborating.
