Amec Gets $93 Million Contract From Packaging Corp Of America
LONDON -(Dow Jones)- Amec PLC (AMEC.LN), the international engineering and
project management company, said Monday has been awarded a $93 million contract
by Packaging Corporation of America (PKG) for energy efficiency upgrades at its
linerboard mill in Valdosta, Georgia that will reduce energy consumption and
electricity costs.
MAIN FACTS:
-Work is currently underway on the project and is expected to be completed by
the end of 2011.
