Medvedev: Russia Financial Sector Weak, Not Capitalized Enough



MOSCOW -(Dow Jones)- Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said Thursday that the country's financial sector is "weak" and isn't sufficiently capitalized.

As it continues measures to combat the financial crisis, the Russian government will focus on helping effective companies, with other companies necessarily exiting the market, Medvedev said in an address to the country's higher house of parliament.
