US Clinton Urges Asian Nations To Push Myanmar On Free ElectionsSINGAPORE (AFP)--U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Wednesday urged Asian nations to reach out to the Myanmar leadership and encourage them to hold "free, fair and credible elections." "We would like to see countries individually and through Asean (the Association of Southeast Asian Nations) reach out to the Burmese leadership, persuade them to start planning for free, fair and credible elections in 2010," Clinton told reporters.
