Spain May Add Second Government Bond To Nov 19 AuctionDOW JONES NEWSWIRES The Spanish Treasury has invited primary dealers to submit recommendations for a second government bond line in an auction Nov. 19. Primary dealers have until midday on Thursday, Nov. 12 to submit their recommendations for another Obligacion, or long-dated government bond, they would like to see auctioned, the Treasury said in a letter to dealers seen by Dow Jones Newswires. So far, the Treasury has penciled in the 4.80% January 2024-dated government bond for its Nov. 19 auction. The Spanish Treasury's 2009 strategy allows it to add another Obligacion to the same auction, maturing in five years or more, the Treasury said. The Treasury has added a second bond series to the scheduled one several times this year.
