India Software Body Expects Moderate Revenue Rise This Fiscal
Year
NEW DELHI -(Dow Jones)- India's main software services trade body expects the
industry's revenue growth to remain moderate this fiscal year because global
economies are yet to recover fully from the recent downturn.
"Growth in major economies is not there yet, although the bad news has
stopped," Som Mittal, chairman of the National Association of Software and
Services Companies, told reporters on the sidelines of the India Economic Summit
Monday.
Mittal expects export revenue for India's software and services sector to be
between $49 billion and $50 billion in this fiscal year ending March 2010.
