Turkish Banks' Net Profit Up 41.1% On Year In Jan-Sep -IHAISTANBUL (IHA)--The overall net profit of Turkey's banking sector rose 41.1% on the year to 15.722 billion Turkish lira ($10.5 billion) in the first nine months of the year, Turkish banking watchdog BDDK said Thursday. BDDK said in a report that total banking sector loans increased 2.3% on the year to TRY375.7 billion in September. The banking sector's capital adequacy ratio rose to 20.05% in September from 18% last December, BDDK added.
