Turkey Oct Auto Sales Down 36% On Year To 21,033 Vehicles - IHAISTANBUL -(Dow Jones)- Turkish automotive sales fell 36% on the year in October to 21,033 vehicles, the Automotive Distributors' Association said Wednesday, the Ihlas News Agency, or IHA, reports. Passenger car sales decreased 30.1% to 13,828 vehicles, while light commercial vehicle sales fell 45% to 7,205 units. In the January-October period, automotive sales rose 3.4% on year to 440,241 vehicles. Passenger car sales increased 12.15% to 294,860 units in the January-October period, while light commercial vehicle sales fell 10.7% to 145,381 units.
