South African President To Visit Equatorial Guinea WednesdayJOHANNESBURG -(Dow Jones)- South African President Jacob Zuma will Wednesday visit Equatorial Guinea in a bid to strengthen bilateral relations between the countries, the presidency said. "South Africa is keen to promote economic relations in the areas of agriculture, mining, energy, tourism and infrastructure development, in addition to collaboration in the furtherance of the African political agenda including the strengthening of democracy in the continent," the presidency said Tuesday. Zuma, who on Thursday will take part in a working visit to Mozambique, will be accompanied on the trip by the country's ministers for international relations, energy and state security. -By Robb M.
