GlaxoSmithKline, Valeant File Retigabine New Drug ApplicationLONDON -(Dow Jones)- GlaxoSmithKline PLC (GSK), a research-based pharmaceutical and healthcare company, and Valeant Pharmaceuticals International (VRX) said Monday that, on Oct. 30, they filed a new drug application with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and a marketing authorisation application with the European Medicines Agency, for retigabine, used as adjunctive therapy to treat adult epilepsy patients with partial-onset seizures.
