Turkey Trade Min: Exports May Exceed $10 Billion In Nov-Dec - IHAISTANBUL -(Dow Jones)- Turkey's rising trend in exports will help exports exceed $10 billion in the last two months of 2009, Foreign Trade Minister Zafer Caglayan said Monday, the Ihlas News Agency, or IHA, reports. Turkey's exports rose 4.62% on the year in October to $9.945 billion, the Turkish Exporters' Assembly, or TIM, said Sunday. "Our exports increased 19.2% in October compared with a month earlier," Caglayan said in a statement. Caglayan said the country's exports may exceed the $98.5 billion forecast for 2009, introduced in its medium-term economic program. The minister also said the government aims to reach $100 billion in exports by the end of 2009. Turkey's exports reached $132 billion in 2008.
