Calif Dept Of Financial Institutions Closes Mirae Bank Of L.A.DOW JONES NEWSWIRES Mirae Bank of Los Angeles was closed today by the California Department of Financial Institutions, which appointed the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation as receiver, the FDIC announced in a press release. To protect the depositors, the FDIC entered into a purchase and assumption agreement with Wilshire State Bank, Los Angeles to assume all of the deposits of Mirae Bank.
