In addition to allowing access from any browser, on any computer with internet access, a single,
free Microsoft Passport Account grants full access to all of the enhanced services available on Nasdaq.com:
- Microsoft® .NET Alerts — This free service lets you
receive important messages through your MSN®Messenger or Windows® Messenger,
your e-mail, or your mobile device. You control how and when you receive these
messages by specifying your preferences during the easy setup process.
- My NASDAQ — This feature allows you to customize the NASDAQ.com home page with up
to 10 of your favorite stocks – showing price, price change, volume, latest news and events for each – and provides
the top news headlines from Realtimetrader.com
- Portfolio Tracking — Using Windows Live ID to access your Portfolio(s) provides an easy, flexible and secure
method for entering and tracking your favorite stocks without relying on a cookie. Your Portfolios stay with you across different
computer platforms and browsers.
- Ticker — Using Windows Live ID to set up your Ticker ensures that your configuration stays with
you across different computer platforms and browsers – without relying on a cookie.
- Guru Analysis - Guru Analysis is a group of nine stock evaluation methodologies based upon the published analysis techniques of well know investment advisors and other popular sources. An individual stock is subjected to the evaluation techniques of each of these nine methodologies and a percentage score is calculated for each, depending upon how well the stock matches the criteria of the methodology – the higher the percent score, the better the fit.
- Custom Heatmap - View the price of your favorite companies at a glance. Each colored rectangle represents an individual company that you have pre-selected. Delayed stock prices, and the color of the cells, update once a minute from 9:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. ET. Green (or Blue) means the stock price is up. Red means it's down. The deeper the color, the bigger the move.
