Yang Ming Marine says losses in 2017 to 'shrink sharply'

TAIPEI, June 20 (Reuters) - Yang Ming Marine Transport Corp
<2609.TW>, the world's ninth-biggest shipping company, said on
Tuesday its expected its losses this year to "shrink sharply"
from the T$15 billion ($495 million) posted in 2016.
    Global shipping firms are struggling to recover from a
severe downturn last year.
