Western Gas Equity prices IPO at $22.00, above the range

Western Gas Equity Partners LP, which holds GP and LP interests in midstream natural gas LP Western Gas Partners, raised $378 million by offering 17.2 million shares at $22, above the range of $19 to $21. Western Gas Equity Partners LP plans to list on the NYSE under the symbol WGP. Barclays, Citi, Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley acted as lead managers on the deal.
