Wednesday's ETF with Unusual Volume: PPH

The Pharmaceutical ETF ( PPH ) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Wednesday, with over 377,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 101,000. Shares of PPH were down about 0.1% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Wednesday were Pfizer ( PFE ), trading off about 0.2% with over 9.9 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Glaxosmithkline ( GSK ), down about 5% on volume of over 7.9 million shares. Actavis ( ACT ) is the component faring the best Wednesday, higher by about 1.4% on the day.
