Wednesday's ETF with Unusual Volume: KXI

The iShares Global Consumer Staples ETF ( KXI ) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Wednesday, with over 321,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 32,000. Shares of KXI were off about 0.2% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Wednesday were Mondelez International ( MDLZ ), trading down about 0.6% with over 9 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Coca Cola ( KO ), off about 0.4% on volume of over 8.9 million shares. Whole Foods Market ( WFM ) is the component faring the best Wednesday, up by about 1.8% on the day, while Lorillard ( LO ) is lagging other components of the iShares Global Consumer Staples ETF, trading lower by about 2.5%.
