Wednesday's ETF with Unusual Volume: KIE

The SPDR S&P Insurance ETF ( KIE ) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Wednesday, with over 620,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 167,000. Shares of KIE were trading flat on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Wednesday were American International Group ( AIG ), trading trading flat with over 3.2 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Genworth Financial ( GNW ), off about 0.8% on volume of over 2.7 million shares. Alleghany ( Y ) is the component faring the best Wednesday, higher by about 0.9% on the day, while Assured Guaranty ( AGO ) is lagging other components of the SPDR S&P Insurance ETF, trading lower by about 1.7%.
