Wednesday's ETF with Unusual Volume: IAT

The iShares U.S. Regional Banks ETF ( IAT ) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Wednesday, with over 1.2 million shares traded versus three month average volume of about 118,000. Shares of IAT were up about 0.7% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Wednesday were Regions Financial ( RF ), trading up about 1% with over 8.8 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Huntington Bancshares ( HBAN ), up about 1.2% on volume of over 7.3 million shares. National Penn Bancshares ( NPBC ) is the component faring the best Wednesday, higher by about 2.5% on the day, while Washington Federal ( WAFD ) is lagging other components of the iShares U.S. Regional Banks ETF, trading lower by about 1.7%.
