Wall Street closes lower on Fed stimulus fears

FXstreet.com (San Francisco) - The Major indexes in the United States have closed lower on Thursday following the release of the FOMC minutes of the meeting held the past December 12. In the official statement, the FOMC said that several members thought would be appropriate to slow or stop asset buys well before 2013 end.

Wall Street eased previous gains after the minutes. The DJIA lost 21.19 points or 0.16% to close at 13,391.36. The S&P 500 declined 3.05 pts or 0.21% to 1,459.37. The Nasdaq Composite finished the day 11.69 pts or 0.38% down to 3,100.57.
