Wall Street closes lower ahead earning season

FXstreet.com (San Francisco) - The US stocks market finished the day with red numbers in a day without fundamental news but ahead of Q4 earning results season. The S&P 500 index has retreated from 5-year high reached Friday and lost 0.31%.

The DJIA eased 50.92 points ir 0.38% to close at 13,384.29. The Nasdaq Composite declined 2.85 points or 0.09% to finish at 3,098.81. And the S&P 500 was 4.58 points or 0.31% lower so far today to 1,461.89.
