Volta Resources Extends Porphyry Copper-Gold Mineralization at Gongondy, Gaoua Cu-Au project, Burkina Faso

Volta Resources Inc. (VTR.TO) today announced the first results from its recently completed 131 hole, 13,528 metres, reverse circulation ( RC ) and diamond drilling ( DD ) program on its Gaoua copper-gold project, located in southern Burkina Faso, West Africa.

Highlights:

- Intersects 168.0 meters at 0.57% copper-equivalent

- And 84.0 meters at 1.01% copper-equivalent

Volta Resources, with SRK Consulting (UK), is scheduled to complete an updated NI 43-101 compliant resource for the Gaoua Project in the first quarter of 2013.
