U.S. stocks record second straight week of gains

FXstreet.com (San Francisco) - U.S. stocks ended higher on Friday and gained for a second consecutive week on optimism that central banks would take action to stabilize markets if needed following the weekend's Greek elections.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA rallied 115.26 points, or 0.9%, to 12,767.17, finishing the week up 1.7%. The S&P 500 Index gained 13.74 points, or 1%, to 1,342.84, for a weekly gain of 1.3%. The Nasdaq Composite climbed 36.47 points, or 1.3%, to 2,872.80 to record a 0.5% weekly gain.
