U.S. stocks rally on JPMorgan; Dow and S&P end 6-day losing stretch

FXstreet.com (San Francisco) - U.S. stocks finally posted gains this Friday, bringing an end to the longest losing streak since May; the rally was lead by news that J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. reported better than expected quarterly results.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rallied 203.82 points, or 1.6%, to 12,777.09 after six days of closing in red, finishing up 0.04% from last Friday. The S&P 500 gained 22.01 points, or 1.7%, to 1,356.77, finishing 0.2% higher this week. The Nasdaq Composite climbed 42.28 points, or 1.5%, to 2,908.47, finishing down 1% for the week.
