The three major U.S. indexes rose in late morning trading on Thursday with stocks of technology companies leading the pack, followed by industrials.

At 11:12 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 0.08 percent at 24,159.96. The S&P 500 was up 0.15 percent at 2,633.28 and the Nasdaq Composite was up 0.51 percent at 6,810.824.
