U.S. stocks end mixed; Spain, Greece in focus

FXstreet.com (San Francisco) - U.S. stocks ended with very muted reactions after Greece's election results offered brief relief, with the Nasdaq Composite and S&P 500 gaining for a third consecutive day on better sentiment and as U.S. housing data countered fears about Spain. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed down 25.35 points, or 0.2%, to 12,741.82. The S&P 500 gained 1.94 points, or 0.1%, to 1,344.78. The Nasdaq Composite rose 22.53 points, or 0.8%, to 2,895.33.
