US: Initial Jobless Claims unchanged at 370K

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - According to the Labor Department, the americans that filed in their first initial claims for regular state unemployment-insurance benefits were without variation last week to a seasonally adjusted 370K in the week ended May 12, above the 365K previously estimated and coming from 370K (revised) in the previous print.

Continuing claims, which reflect people already receiving benefits, rose by 18K to 3.265 million in the week ended May 5 vs. 3.247 million in the previous week.
