U.S. stock futures were moving higher Tuesday after companies reported better-than-expected quarterly results and as home prices in February were as expected.

The home price index rose 0.8% in February, equal to Bloomberg's consensus. At 10:00 a.m., the Conference Board's consumer confidence index is seen rising to 83.0 for April from 82.3 in March.

The Federal Open Market Committee's two-day meeting starts today. The FOMC will make an announcement Wednesday at 2:00 p.m.
