Sara Lee (SLE): Option volume 6,535 percent above average. A collar
in the October 16 puts and October 19 calls was rolled to the
January 15 puts and the January 17.50 calls as an investor kept a
protective strategy in place. SLE fell 2.26 percent to $17.30.
New Gold (NGD): Option volume 2,703 percent above average. More
than 50,000 November 11 calls were bought as investors looked for
upside. NGD fell 5.31 percent to $10.70.
Oneok (OKE): Option volume 1,982 percent above average. Investors
sold the October 70 puts and bought the October 70 calls, looking
for the shares to go up. OKE fell 0.54 percent to $71.86.
Arcos Dorados (ARCO): Option volume 1,472 percent above average.
Activity surged in the October 25 calls and the November 30 puts,
probably part of an institutional arbitrage trade. ARCO fell 4.35
percent to $22.64.
iShares iBoxx $ Investment Grade Corporate Bond Fund (LQD): Option
volume 1,429 percent above average. More than 7,000 March 108 puts
were bought, mostly for $2.05, as investors positioned for
downside. LQD rose 0.26 percent to $112.34.
