UPDATE: Timmins Gold Drops 10% After Q4 Misses on Revenues, EPS In Line

Timmins Gold Corp. ( TGD ) shares have tumbled 9% to 2.54 after disappointing analysts with its Q4 earnings, which came in at $0.09 per share, compared with the prior year period's $0.08. Metal revenues were $40.6 mln, above $35.5 mln revenues in the same period last year.

Analysts were looking for EPS of $0.09 on revenues of $42.16 mln.

The company also reported 24,241 ounces of gold sold and 16,203 ounces silver sold for the quarter, an improvement from 21,895 ounces gold sold and 11,635 ounces silver sold in Q4 of 2011.


TGS shares are trading within a 52-week range of $1.45 - $3.47.
