UPDATE: Pershimco Names VP Exploration and VP Latin America; Shares Up 13%

Pershimco Resources Inc. (PRO.V)has appointed John Kapetas and Octavio Choy to the newly created positions of Vice-President Exploration and Vice-President Latin-America, respectively.

The promotions are in line with the Company's optimization of its corporate structure, overseeing the 175 engineers, geologists, administration professionals and other employees who are all contributing to Pershimco's continued growth and international development, Pershimco said in a statement.

PRO was up 13% to 52 cents but is still off year highs.
