UPDATE: Macarthur Minerals' Positive Metallurgical Test Work Bolsters Project Potential; Shares Slip 2% to Near Year Lows

Macarthur Minerals Limited (MMS.TO) today announced the results of two metallurgical test work programs designed to test the amenability of hematite from the Ularring Hematite Project, to beneficiation.

The results of this work were encouraging and indicated that it was technically possible to recover materials with a gradeof more than 60% Fe and with a recovery of over 63% using conventional gravity beneficiation techniques.

MMS is now unchanged at 59 cents, which is just 6 cents above year lows. Volume traded is about 8,000.

MMS is now down by almost 2% at 58 cents, which is just 5 cents above year lows. Volume traded is about 11,000.
