UPDATE: Ecuador Gold Unveils Further Drill Results At Santa Barbara Deposit, Shrs Record New 52-Week Lows

Ecuador Gold & Copper Corp. (EGX.V) announced further gold intercepts at its flagship Santa Barbara gold-copper porphyry deposit within the company's 8,300 hectare Condor Gold and Copper Project in Ecuador.

The company said drill hole DSB-27, which was drilled to 772 meters, returned one of the longest mineralized intercepts to date averaging 0.68 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 0.12% copper over 476 meters from 266 meters.

DSB-26 is a step-out hole drilled 150 meters north of the known resource in the Santa Barbara South Zone that has encountered 146 meters of 0.90 g/t gold and 0.12% copper starting at 204 meters.

The Condor Gold Project contains a Measured & Indicated mineral resource of 1.52 million ounces gold.

EGX is now trading at $0.03 per share, up 20%. It has touched a new 52-week low of $0.02 today.
