UK: Annual CPI at 2.7 for the second running month in December

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - According to data released today by National Statistics, UK annual inflation rose 2.7% in December, following 2.7% growth registered the previous month. This result is in line with analysts' forecasts. On a monthly basis UK CPI increased 0.5% in June, after growing 0.2% in November, as expected.

Year-over-year Core CPI rose 2.4% in December, down from 2.6% in November.
