Tuesday's ETF with Unusual Volume: VCR

The Vanguard Consumer Discretionary ETF ( VCR ) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Tuesday, with over 855,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 74,000. Shares of VCR were down about 0.2% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Tuesday were Groupon ( GRPN ), trading off about 3.1% with over 21.3 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Sirius XM Holdings ( SIRI ), up about 0.5% on volume of over 14.4 million shares. Tile Shop Holdings ( TTS ) is the component faring the best Tuesday, up by about 8.6% on the day, while RetailMeNot ( SALE ) is lagging other components of the Vanguard Consumer Discretionary ETF, trading lower by about 26.1%.
